IRS Form 990-N or EZ filing

Every nonprofit organization needs to file a Form 990 annually to the IRS! Instead of spending hundreds on an accountant, file the Form 990 affordably and simply. Trust us, Crowded is a certified e-filer with the IRS!

When you file the 990 Form with Crowded, the relevant form is auto-populated with data from the IRS and Crowded banking data. The form is submitted to the IRS by Crowded, and your organization will be updated on the forms acceptance or rejection.

When your org is Pro, the 990-N or EZ form is included in your package! If not, your org can still file the Form 990 through Crowded’s intuitive platform.

Sub Accounts

Create up to 2 subsidiary bank accounts (Sub Accounts) under your Crowded account with Pro. Use these accounts to give your chapter’s freedom to manage their finances, while you get complete oversight. Or, simply set some money aside. To add more Sub Accounts, get in touch with us!

If your organization opens up Sub Accounts through the Pro plan, your organization becomes an “HQ” or Headquarters account. As the HQ, you have special privileges – you’ll be able to create up to 2 Sub Accounts, invite admins to run these accounts, and later, add and withdraw funds from those accounts. 

Why create Sub Accounts?

An organization can leverage Sub Accounts to get unprecedented insights and oversight into how their organization is managing finances, without needing to manage hands-on. Assign admin access to the relevant parties, and allow sub-groups/committees/chapters to manage their own finances, with the power to step in at any point.

Also, say bye to time consuming account handovers. No more trips to the bank, no need for the group admin to provide their SSN, Sub Account admins can be assigned and replaced instantly.

Admin Seats

Give visibility to the organization stakeholders with admin seats. Admins can see all transactions, create and close Collections, create and erase Per Diem accounts, Sub Accounts, and more. Admins have full power over a Crowded account (except that they cannot hand over the account, if they are not the account owner). 

Admin Cards

Only admins get access to Admin Cards – debit cards auto-loaded with the total amount in the organization’s checking account. Admins can spend freely with the organization’s funds and make large purchases! All purchases will be transparent for all admins to see.

As a compliance limitation, an organization can only have 5 admin cards.

Organizations need to give the proper visibility to the relevant people within an organization.

With the Essentials plan, your organization has only 2 admin seats. Going Pro means your organization gets up to 5 admin seats – allowing for all relevant parties to have oversight over your org’s finances.   

 

Recurring Payments for Collect

Allow your payers to contribute monthly towards your collection with Recurring Payments. Reach new members, and scale collections! 

Admins can enable payers to make monthly payments towards the collection amount — making it easier for them by allowing contributions over time. This feature is completely optional and can be toggled on during the collection creation process.

Contact Upload 

Engage your members or donor base by easily sending them collections, assigning cards, rewarding stipends, etc. by uploading contacts into Crowded. Bulk add & redeem funds

Whether for Expense or Per Diem cards, quickly add or redeem funds to multiple contacts by clicking “Apply to All”. CSV Payment Transfers
